THRIVE, GROW AND LOVE YOURSELF
Dare to become fully yourself, gently and at any age.
Psychotherapy in Lyon and online - in French, English, or Spanish.
Welcome!
Cramped in a life that no longer feels like you?
Waking up with a vague unease, sadness, emptiness, or anxiety?
Daily challenges feel overwhelming?
Experiencing a loss of meaning, a transition, relationship difficulties or painful solitude?
Yet a part of you longs for more serenity, joy, and inner freedom.
Here, you can pause, take a side step. Learning to choose yourself and prioritise your needs opens the door to true fulfillment. The therapeutic space is a space of freedom. Change can happen gently, without having to throw everything away.
Something in you is calling for change
In our performance-driven lives, we sometimes lose ourselves, we run out of breath. And then one day, the vital need to find ourselves again arises.
Therapy helps rekindle the quiet flame of being alive.
My approach
My name is Elsa Weill. Trained in Gestalt therapy, I support adults at transitional moments in life.
I also have specific expertise working with:
Women in transition – burn out, relational difficulties, grief, menopause – who wish to reconnect with their vitality, intuition, and inner power.
People experiencing a sense of disconnection or loss of direction – to reconnect and feel aligned with themselves and their surroundings.
With 25 years of living abroad, I understand multicultural challenges – expatriation, repatriation, immigration, feelings of disconnection, and mixed families. I have lived in 7 countries and explored many worlds – from television to the UN, from film festivals to the Green School in Bali – before truly finding myself.
Before embarking on five years of Gestalt studies, I was a seeker of meaning. It is this journey of transformation that I now place in service of others.
Welcome to my website. You are in the right place - the path to inner balance begins here and now.
“The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.”
— Carl Gustav Jung (Psychiatrist - Psychotherapist)
Gestalt: the psychotherapy of the present moment.
Life is not linear: crises, transitions, and challenges can become doors to greater awareness, freedom, and joy.
Gestalt therapy integrates the body, emotions, mind, and relationships. It helps you live fully in the here and now, regain your ability to act, and reclaim your autonomy.
It is a therapy with a humanistic and transformative approach that helps you create a life in harmony with your deepest aspirations.
Support and themes offered
I offer individual therapeutic support for adults - in person or via videoconference.
Here are some examples of topics we can explore together.
-
-
Have the courage to be yourself, without fearing the judgment of others.
Many people feel afraid to step forward or take their rightful space, worried about being judged. This fear can be paralyzing, even when we aren’t fully aware of it.
Yet, it is essential to move beyond the fear of others’ gaze in order to live fully, express your uniqueness, and thrive.
-
Love yourself better and love more fully. Rediscover inner peace and restore a healthy relationship with yourself and the world.
A lack of self-esteem can create deep, invisible suffering.
This work of inner reconciliation is essential to regain harmony within and access a true joy of living.
-
The body holds the memory of our emotional wounds. Anxiety often reflects unfinished experiences from the past. Rather than escaping through the mind, the key is to return to the body, listen to its signals, and welcome the wounded inner child to find calm.
It is by moving from the head to the heart, into the here and now of the body, that we can acknowledge and transform our past experiences.
-
Break the cycle of emotional dependency to fully thrive. Emotional dependence, often linked to low self-esteem or unresolved emotional wounds, can lead you to abandon yourself, losing touch with your own needs and desires.
This process of emotional liberation is essential to regain your autonomy and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships.
-
Overcome challenges and regain your balance during times of transition. Don’t let the turbulence of a crisis define you.
This period of disorientation can mark the beginning of a deep and constructive transformation, giving new meaning to your life.
The path to inner balance begins here and now.
-
Dare to get closer to others and open yourself fully to experience joyful and peaceful relationships.
The fear of commitment or intimacy, often linked to old emotional wounds, can create an unconscious cycle of closeness and withdrawal - that familiar “I call you and then I run away” pattern - which prevents you from experiencing calm and authentic connections.
-
In our society, menopause remains a taboo, often spoken of only in hushed tones. Yet menopause is a natural part of a woman’s life.
It is a passage, a gift of rebirth. It is also an opportunity to be reborn to yourself, to reconnect with your body and your feminine power. Freeing yourself from society’s view of menopause is a deeply liberating act that can mark the beginning of a joyful and profound renewal.
-
Losing a loved one is a deeply distressing experience. Grief is not something to be overcome; it is something to be lived through.
In our society, death remains a difficult topic, often approached with discomfort or completely avoided.
Grief is a painful journey, an immense void that can feel impossible to fill. Yet true fidelity in grief is not about being overwhelmed and broken, but about moving forward.
I accompany you on this path, helping you come to terms with your pain.
